Christina Haack’s New Boyfriend Makes HGTV Debut on Flip Off After She Started Show with 3rd Husband Josh Hall

A new love interest has entered the Flip Off universe.

On the season finale of the HGTV competition show (airing March 5), Christina Haack (formerly Hall), 41, faces her final challenge in the house flipping showdown against her first ex-husband, Tarek El Moussa, 43, and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, 37.

Friends, family, and co-stars gather at Christina’s Newport Beach, Calif. home to await the announcement of the winner by guest judge Jeff Lewis. Among the stars’ supporters is Christopher Larocca, Christina’s current boyfriend, whom she began dating following her split from her third husband Josh Hall during the course of the show’s production.

Larocca avoids the spotlight in the scene, blending in with the other supporters of team Christina in a black shirt and blazer.

He doesn’t speak or even interact with Christina, but eagle-eyed viewers will see him in a few shots, usually surrounded by Tarek and Christina’s children — Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 9 — Christina’s best friend, Cassie Schienle, and her design partner, Kylie Wing.

PEOPLE confirmed Christina and Larocca were an item in December 2024, six months after her breakup with Josh, but photos surfaced allegedly showing them together on a trip to Italy in October, indicating they may have been an item even earlier.

The Christina on the Coast designer went Instagram official with the CEO and president of Illinois-based Network Connex on Feb. 5 by sharing a cozy photo of the two on a private jet. “Some plane flights must be hard posted,” she captioned a carousel of photos from the trip.

She’s since shared a number of snapshots from the couple’s travels on her social media, including trips to Paris and Florida. Larocca has also met Tarek and Heather. The foursome were spotted out to dinner together in California. Tarek and Heather previously joked that they wanted to screen any potential new men in Christina’s life after her third divorce.

Christina started her Flip Off journey with a different man at her side. Josh, 44, was supposed to be her partner in the couple-vs.-couple competition. But shortly after the show was announced in May 2024, Josh filed for divorce from Christina after less than three years of marriage on July 15. He cited irreconcilable differences and requested spousal support from the star.

After that, Josh’s role in the show, if any, was unclear for months after the split, though Christina was seen returning to set without him. He was also removed from promotional images released by HGTV.

When the series premiered in January 2025, he only appeared in the first episode, which included a final blow-up between the couple and Christina breaking the news to Tarek that their marriage was over. He’s also popped up in some flash backs since.
