Nicole Kidman has revealed she walked away with a few war wounds after filming intense scenes for her upcoming erotic thriller.
The Australian actor, 57, said she was covered in bruises ‘all over’ her body after shooting some intimate moments with her co-star Harris Dickinson, 28.
The pair bagged the leading roles in Halina Reijn’s new flick, Babygirl, which explores the nature of power dynamics and sexuality within a professional setting.
Kidman stars as workaholic CEO Romy, who ends up having a fling with her much younger intern Samuel (Dickinson) while her husband (Antonio Banderas) has no idea.

When the film finally arrives in UK cinemas on 10 January, make sure you pay attention to just how much effort Kidman put into the raunchy scenes which litter the film.
The Moulin Rouge star previously opened up about how she had to pause production at one point as she was having ‘too many orgasms’.
And now, she’s revealed some more details about the exhaustion she felt on set while repeatedly feigning pleasure.
Kidman sat down with Spider-Man star Zendaya, 28, for Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’ feature to discuss how the sex scenes in Babygirl and the hit HBO series Big Little Lies impacted her.
She explained it was ‘really taxing going through all of those emotions’, as her body didn’t recognise that she was acting.

“So you’re putting yourself through the trauma,” Kidman said.
“On Babygirl, there were parts that are now not in the film that we shot that gave me – it was exhausting, but it was also just emotionally disturbing.
“The same when I was doing Big Little Lies. That was disturbing to my body and my psyche, because I couldn’t tell what was real and what wasn’t.
“I would have real bruises all over my back and body.”
Zendaya then admitted that similarly, she ‘still has her Rue scars’ from shooting some harrowing scenes for season two of Euphoria.
The pair then went on to discuss how they try to leave the emotional baggage of their characters on set, rather than taking it home with them.
Kidman continued: “My brain would say, ‘Hold on. You’re hurt’.”

“So I’ve done things where they clean my chakras and pray and get out the sage,” the A Family Affair actor said.
“Honestly, I’ll take whatever so I can step into the next place free, and not scarred or damaged or wounded. Which sounds like I’m bats**t crazy, but I’m not.
“Even just a massage, where suddenly you get a beautiful touch. That’s healing, and we have to heal.
“I’m still learning not to sacrifice my body for the sake of the art, because part of me wants to. Having to value who I am, it’s a journey.”
But make no bones about it, Kidman is still buzzing that she is taking centre stage in Babygirl.
She added: “As soon as I heard it was called Babygirl, I’m like, ‘Yeah. I want to be the babygirl’.
“And so much of it is the chemistry. [Director Halina Reijn] was like, ‘What about Harris Dickinson?'”
